Through participating in the project, individuals can expect to be moved further towards the labour market or into a job. Activities that we would expect participants to participate in would include Careers information advice and guidance, Peer Mentoring, Volunteering and Work Experience opportunities and more. Access Training works with a group of specially selected providers, colleges, and other local organisations.
The participant will receive 1:1 support throughout together with independent Advice and Guidance on the following topics:
Employment, Independent Living, Community Inclusion and Health Issues. Participants will receive full one to one support for approximately 12 – 24 months and will undertake a period of time learning skills for work, along with developing independence by using public transport, cooking basic meals, budgeting and understanding personal safety.
